Projects
“We would like a building that will not fall down during the rains.” –Dinka ElderRebuild Sudan is committed to building permanent structures that are designed with sustainable principles: considering climate, natural light, natural heating & cooling, and indigenous materials. Building in a region that has never had a permanent structure has its share of challenges. But for a people who have lived in refugee camps for more than 20 years, building permanence is critical to rebuilding home. Learn more about the projects we are building in Jalle, beginning with the Jalle School. Construction on this project slated to begin in April 2011. |
