so i noticed that the nike sneakers they sell at footlocker like the air max and the lebrons cost a lot more than the exact same nike sneakers they sell in the nike store, why is that? i buy my sneakers from the nike store but i just wondered why it cost more at footlocker and why do people pay the footlocker price instead of getting the same sneaker cheaper at the nike store.
If it is the exact same pair, well, I'm not sure. I know Footlocker does buy exclusive lines from Nike (not even Nike can sell these exclusive colors and also material), so Footlocker can charge whatever the market will bare.
If they are exactly the same (even the model number), well, maybe the people don't live near a Nike store or want to buy via the Internet (as they want to try on sneaker). There are a LOT more Footlockers than Nike stories by far! It could also be store loyalty. One someone gets into the habit of buying at a store, they go there first and if they find what they want, they'll buy it there. Yes, I know human nature is to find the best price, but some times different human natures compete and one will win out over another one.
What would help would be specific examples!!
