I have currently bought the iPod touch (1 gen) for X-mas i was bought Nike + iPod when i put the part that goes into my ipod, into my ipod it says, "This accessory is not supported by this iPod"
I have everything up to date on my iPod i have version 2.2.1

i dont think the 1st Gen is compatible with the Nike+iPod. the nano, and the 2nd Gen touch are. sorry tho.
No, it isn't.
The 2nd generation, however, is compatible without even having to use the sensor.
